We just wanted to take the
opportunity to thank you properly for appearing at our wedding last month.

The day was fantastic and when we thought things couldn’t get any better, you
guys turned up and were just simply sensational. We really liked the music and
you are all incredibly talented, but I think what made it so special was the
way you reacted to the guests and knew how to get them up, dancing, singing and
just generally having an enjoyable time.

17th! Sorry for such a belated thank you – I wanted to send you a photo (see attached), which we’ve only just got. We also have loads
of other really great ones of you guys (see link attached).

We really appreciated the fact that you learnt our first dance song at such short notice, and it sounded AMAZING!! And then you
played the whole way through and were just so good. Everyone was having such a good time – although I am not sure of some the dancing
displayed by my family during the “dance off” your Irish jig stimulated!

Thank you also for letting my sister sing with you – it was really special for me to have her do a song!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the Cheesecake
band for such an amazing evening of musical fun at our wedding. Everyone kept
asking us how we found the band, and I can’t think of a moment when the
dancefloor was actually empty – everyone couldn’t resist rocking and rolling
(and sometimes jiving) to the band! The band just knew how to get the crowd
dancing, right from young toddlers to the older folks! The musical selection
was perfect and people have been requesting the playlist since (we have
forwarded a link to the band’s website).

 

Also, thank you so much for learning our first dance song -
it made the evening so memorable.

Just a quick email to say a massive thank
you for the music you guys provided at our wedding reception. We
only got back from honeymoon at the beginning of the month and we have taken
some time to get ourselves sorted before contacting people.

The music was brilliant. We much prefer live bands to DJs and you guys did not
disappoint. We are so grateful that you were able to play our choice of
first-dance too. Rather unfortunately it would appear that some bugger
actually recorded it – you sound great, whereas my dancing looks awful!

A substantial number of our guests who we have been able to talk to have commented
on the band too – all good. I do know that one of the guests has recommended
your band to her friend who is getting married sometime soon.

Many thanks for allowing one of the bridesmaids to “sing”…I know
that that performance was also recorded and when she sees it she may realise
that a singing career is not on the cards. I’m also glad that ”Lady
in Red” did not appear on the set list.

Thanks once again, and best of luck for the future.

I’m back from honeymoon and owe you a long overdue thank you for
the wedding!  Is it possible to leave feedback on your website?  One
of the comments from the guests was “if Carlsberg made wedding bands, they’d
probably be this band”.  Absolutely everyone from grandchildren to
grandparents was up dancing all night and all my family and friends there said
they will try and book you for any parties and weddings they have in the
future.  We could not have asked for more.

Many thanks from Lucy and I, the band were perfect for our wedding
and cheers for staying around until I reloaded the iPod after my brother
managed to wipe it!

Dear Alexis

We just wanted to thank you so much for doing such a fantastic job playing at our wedding. We really enjoyed the music and have had many compliments from our friends and family. You played something for everyone which we all loved. Tim and I had such an amazing day, apart from the rain, and we will be talking about it forever, the music certainly played a big part of it.

We have just about recovered now and are back on the boat working, it’s not all bad though as at least the sun is shining here.

How are you?

We would just like to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you for your performance on sat. It really made our night. We had so many people asking us where we found such a great band. Everyone loved the music and the dance floor always seemed busy which was what we wanted.

Really appreciate how long you played live and how well your set worked.

Hope you guys enjoyed your evening as much as we did? Did you manage to get some of the wedding cake? I meant to bring some over to you guys but was a little drunk. Hope you made the most of the buffet as the Hotel provided way too much food.

Thanks again guys, will defo recommend you to anyone looking for a band in the future and will keep you top of our list for any future events.

Dear Alexis,

please forgive the delay in writing to thank you and the Band very much indeed for entertaining us at the Auriol Kensington Rowing Club in London.

It was great that you could accompany my husband’s arrival by water with some sea shanties, it all captured everyone’s attention, even the adjacent pub customers were reaching for their mobiles to photo the possible celeb!

As you probably realised the evening all turned out to be a total surprise for Simon but the icing on the cake was definitely the Band-the fiddler added a new dimension to all the music and EVERYBODY commented on how good you all were-witnessed by the dance floor being packed once you got started and staying that way until the reluctant end.

I am sorry I did not get to say goodbye and to thank you personally, I would highly recommend you not only for the quality and range of your music but for really engaging with the guests- a real skill.

Sorry I didn’t get a chance to chat with you on Friday night, but you were going down a storm by the time we left.  Absolutely loved the fiddler and dancing at the beginning really makes me want to organise a barn dance here as I think it would be a great success.   Will get some feedback from Helen over the next few days but it looked like everybody was having a ball, well done and you all looked great at the back of the barn!

There was 2 couples who stopped by for a drink to hear you play so hopefully you might pick up some more business from it as well, but I loved it, my husband loved the Jackson can you feel it cover!

I intended to write you a proper thank you letter (in ink on paper!) but in the catching up this week, I realise now that it would not get to you in a timely manner so I’m e-mailing instead and hope you don’t think that is inadequate.
“Ken & I want to thank you very much for your great performance(s) on Saturday.  The acoustic set was really lovely, I hope people did compliment you at the time – they have certainly mentioned it to me since so if you felt you were playing to an empty tent, please let me assure you that your performance added immeasurably to the ambience of the wedding at that stage.  And the band set was fantastic…we were all very impressed by the quality of your performance, your ability to judge the mood at any stage,  the huge variety on your play list  and your stamina! I don’t think you had a break all night. And I’m sure you noticed that the dance froor was packed.  And the ipod disco management before all the band arrived and at the very end was very professional.  Sarah and Nick could not possibly have found a better band for their wedding.

We are getting compliments from all our guests about the wedding as a whole, which we (admittedly biased! ) we thought was the best ever. That view has kindly also been exprressed but many of our guests and they have also particularly mention Cheescake.  We had a few people from the music business within our guest groups and they  were also  genuinely impressed  with your performnace.

You guys exceeding my expectations by so much!  My guests are still raving about you!  You honestly made our night!

Not only did you keep the dance floor floor full all night, the way the band interacted with the guests was great!  watching Mick and his brother and my sister singing are memories i will keep forever and made the night so personal to us!

Another image i will never forget is everyone on the dance floor attempting the riverdance …it was hilarious!!

Having the fiddle was such an added bonus!  all Mick’s family are Irish and  loved the Irish jigs you played!

I also wanted to say thank you for the first dance!  The way you played the Fields of Athenrye was just perfect and we loved our dance!  We were actually wondering if it would be possible and how much it would cost go get a copy of your recoded version of the song?  We loved it!!

We can’t wait to see you guys at another wedding which is definitely go to happen because we will recommending you guys to everyone!!!

Your playing was amazing especially the first dance, and the way you were able to incorporate the singing of me, my mum, sister and brother in law… plus keeping the Irish dancing contingent happy was amazing.

I know that the venue was chuffed that you managed to keep the dance floor packed all night.  It was the first time they had used the room and it proved a massive success.

Just wanted to drop you a line to thank you so much for putting on such a great show at our wedding on the 6th June. From talking to you we hoped you were going to be good, but you never quite know… but in fact you were amazing!

Whether you were belting out “Sweet home Alabama”, or ripping off “Volare”, or getting everyone stomping to “500 miles”, each tune was a hit. “Livin’ on a prayer” was brilliant… a little sweaty for me, but brilliant. As you can imagine, my relatives have seen me in something of a new light! You even managed to carry us through a lengthy solo first dance to “Crazy Little thing Called Love”, getting people geed up enough to not leave us stranded there too long!

Everyone has said how fantastic the music was. It’s so important to the way the party goes, but you judged it perfectly and absolutely made our day. At one stage we popped out for some air and took a turn around the marquee… looking in through the windows we could see that literally everyone was on the dance floor! I think that says it all.

Please pass on our deepest thanks to all the rest of the band. I hope you’re still going for our 25th anniversary, we’d love to have you play again!
